Not Meant to Be Finished
Share
I’ve been doing really well with reading my Bible daily.
I think I’m on day seven—one full week of consistency.
And for some reason, that feels big.
Not because I’m close to finishing…
but because I don’t want to be finished.
My goal is to never be finished.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much pressure we put on ourselves to complete things.
To check them off.
To reach an end point.
But some things in life… aren’t meant to be completed.
Don’t get me wrong—goals matter.
There’s beauty in building, growing, accomplishing.
But there are also parts of life that are meant to be ongoing.
Quietly repeated.
Lived in, not finished.
Reading your Bible.
Building your brand.
Even something as simple as doing the laundry.
Because when you think about it…
laundry is never really done.
It only ends when no one needs clean clothes anymore.
And maybe that’s the point.
Maybe some of the most meaningful parts of our lives
aren’t things we finish—
but things we return to.
Again and again.
Without pressure.
Without an end.
Just… presence.
